Combo and competitions.

Hello guys, today is all about combo making and competitions strategy for inline slalom.

As competition is nearing by, some might be very stress, some might be finally finishing their combo, some may be just finishing their first line, but whatever the case, i hope this post will help you out ^^ i might be wrong so don't quote me >.<

What is the main important factors to making a good combo? Well there are some very good pointers. Its is just like making a movie, or writing a story.

1st the back ground music, one must have 'feel' with the music to make a good combo, make sure there is some impact also, but don't impact all the way, like a story, there must be high and low point, high all the way is boring and mistake are easily made, too low will be boring and unattractive. As long as theres 'feel' it should be alright AND the ENDING is very IMPORTANT, make sure the routine ends WITH the music, in my view ending a combo without the music ending is very very unsightly to me. XP

2nd is the technical aspect. Like a movie, there will be interesting part, your combo also must have difficult moves, one can end a combo with wheelings, spins or high end jumping or sitting, normally higher end families' moves are recommended but it depends very much on the music coordination and the intentions of the skater.

3rd is which in my view is the most important part, your connection between the audience and yourself during competition. Always remember that they are there to SEE you PERFORM and not there to see you WIN. As long as you put up a good show, then you have succeed in what you want to achieve, winning is secondary as always, it IS important, but think about it only AFTER the competitions, or don't think about it at all :P

4th ENJOY ^^
